CDL Training and Recruitment

The Dept. of Labor, Workforce Development Board, Sage Truck Driving School and Schneider National have teamed up for a CDL A  Driver and Driver Trainee Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity that may not come around again for a while. If you are considering getting a CDL A or CDL B Drivers license you should attend one of the information sessions happening on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10 am OR at 12 pm.  Drivers who already have a CDLA can meet with a representative from Schneider National for an on-the- spot interview for a Designated Driver position for the Tractor Supply Distribution Center in Frankfort, NY.  

CDL A DRIVERS AND TRAINEES – FULL AND PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE TO ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

If you have ever considered a career as a professional CDL A Driver, don’t miss this opportunity.

SAGE Technical Services and MVCC offer students the chance to drive the BIG rigs and earn BIG bucks! Successful graduates earn first-year incomes of more than $45,000-$55,000.  Training can be completed in typically four to six weeks at MVCC’s Rome Campus. Or upgrade a CDL License from a B to an A using course time. Basic, advanced, and refresher courses are offered with new classes beginning every two to three weeks throughout the year.

CDL A TRAINEES

Sage Truck Driving School will hold Informational Sessions at 10 am and at 12 pm on Friday April 26, 2019 at Utica Working Solutions Career Center, 207 Genesee Street,2nd Floor,  Utica, NY.

 A Representative of Herkimer/Madison/Oneida Workforce Development Board will be there to assist potential trainees in determining eligibility for available training funds and to guide them through the application process.

ALREADY A LICENSED CDL A DRIVER?

A representative of Schneider National will be recruiting CDL A Dedicated Drivers for the Tractor Supply Distribution Center in Frankfort on Friday April 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at Utica Working Solutions Career Center, 207 Genesee Street, 2nd Floor.  All Class A CDL Holders are eligible to apply. Must live within 75 miles of Frankfort, NY.
