The Madison County Regional Phase I Police Academy is offered through SUNY Morrisville, with the assistance of the Madison County Sheriff's Department and the New York State University Police. It is designed for current civilian or non-sworn New York State residents who are interested in entering the law enforcement field as a police officer in New York State. Although the program does not guarantee admission into a police department, every standard required in a full-time basic police academy applies, including physical fitness, attendance, and academics. • The Women's Employment and Resource Center at 502 Court Street, Suite 234, Utica is offering a new workshop series: Google Docs & Google Sheets Training! It will be over the course of 3 weeks, every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting February 11th until February 26th. On the final day, all attendees will receive a certificate for completing the course (18 hours of training). 
• Struggling to job search in the digital age? Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training and certification classes from Northstar Digital Literacy. Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have sessions every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
