We are a growing consulting firm looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to oversee, execute, and implement strategic digital marketing initiatives. This role will support the Sr. Director in executing the digital strategy and will work with a cross-functional team of marketing and communications professionals.


The candidate must be a self-starter with a bias toward action and rolling up their sleeves to get things done. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining digital marketing strategies for Tidal Basin Group and all its entities, including Tidal Basin Government Consulting; Tidal Basin Caribe; Tidal Basin Federal; the RP Enterprise Solutions suite of services including TB Customer Relations, TB Technologies, TB Mosaic Financial; and entities and initiatives as defined by our owner, DC Capital Partners (DCCP).


The ideal candidate will have an eye for design, understand marketing principles, have experience implementing and managing paid ad campaigns across multiple platforms, and have a deep understanding of SEO content optimization tactics. This role will assist with creating, editing, and publishing content across all digital platforms. Content Marketing and SEO
Create, edit, and manage content for blogs, social media accounts, newsletters, podcasts, videos, and other digital media channels.
Support the generation of SEO content by optimizing articles and content using tools like Semrush and Yoast.
Email Marketing
Develop, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns through writing, editing, and staging newsletters, drip campaigns, and other email initiatives.
Social Media
Manage all social media accounts by creating and publishing content, replying to comments/messages, and increasing engagement. One of the key performance metrics will be the increase in engagement that the candidate brings to our social channels.
Implement and manage promoted social posts and paid ad campaigns on strategic social media channels like LinkedIn.
Website
Increase website traffic and improve search rankings with SEO, optimize target keywords in existing articles, and build backlinks through strategic outreach.
Assist with website administration, development, and content management, including:
Regularly update and add new content to the Tidal Basin website and other associated entity microsites.
Ensure content is SEO optimized and aligns with our evolving messaging.
Build new landing pages using existing WordPress templates and/or design new microsites using other site-builder tools.
Support external client website build initiatives as needed.

Administrative
Perform competitive and market research for benchmarking and conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to improve all digital programs.
Provide regular reports on the performance of digital platforms, utilizing data analytics from GA4 and other sources to inform future strategies and campaigns.
Coordinate and assist with digital vendor management.
Assist with budget development, spending reviews, and management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

The candidate should possess the following:
Technical
Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization SEO and SEM principles. Experience with keyword research tools and familiarity with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms and understanding of email marketing strategies. Experience with marketing automation campaigns and personalizing content to different audience segments.
Skilled in creating compelling content that engages and converts. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for creating basic graphics, videos, and interactive content.
Basic understanding of web development principles and experience managing websites. Proficiency in HTML and CSS and familiarity with web development tools and platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)

The Youth Employment Program (YEP) is now enrolling!

YEP is an important platform that is intended to help reduce community gun violence and youth criminal justice involvement by providing year-round employment opportunities.

These funds will support the establishment of a program which includes employment, education and/or career exploration opportunities for TANF-eligible youth from low-income households.

This funding is further intended to support employment programs for youth at risk of gun violence as part of a statewide gun-violence reduction intervention model.

This program will connect eligible Oneida  County youth ages 14-20 with entry-level jobs in a variety of industries, including government agencies, hospitals, camps, non-profits, small businesses, museums and retail organizations for a duration of 12 weeks.

At the conclusion of the 12 weeks, the employer will have the option to hire the youth, the youth may secure their own employment, or staff will assist with job search or career exploration activities.

Fast Facts about the Youth Employment Program:

  • $15.00 per hour
  • Youth must be between the ages of 14 and 20 years old
  • The program runs from January 1 to June 30, 2024. Youth can work a flexible schedule depending on their availability and the work site
  • Must be an Oneida County resident and will work at various work sites throughout the county
  • Youth must meet income-eligible requirements*

SALARY: $41,616.00 (2024 base pay rate)

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The work involves the performance of routine manual duties necessary for the maintenance and repair of grounds and equipment within the College. Employees in this class may also be called upon to perform a variety of semi-skilled building trade activities and to operate various types of motor vehicles and power equipment. Groundskeepers work under the direct supervision of a higher ranking employee but are permitted some exercise of independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work. Specific instructions may be given for new or unusual assignments. Direct supervision may be exercised over the work of seasonal helpers and laborers. A Groundskeeper also does related work as required.
