The Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA) is a public drinking water utility headquartered in Utica, NY and provides potable water to approximately 130,000 residents and businesses in the greater Utica area. We are currently seeking to fill two positions within our Engineering Department.

Qualified individuals will have a degree from an accredited civil engineering program and either a demonstrated aptitude to learn hydraulic modeling and GIS programming or experience designing, maintaining, or operating water supply infrastructure.

The RADAR project advances the U.S. Department of Labor’s efforts to expand and modernize Registered Apprenticeship by increasing the number of programs and apprentices, diversifying the industries that use Registered Apprenticeship and improving the access to and performance of Registered Apprenticeship Programs for underrepresented and underserved communities, with individuals with disabilities as the primary participants. This program is 100% funded by a United States Department of Labor - Employment and Training Administration’s (ETA) award of $2,999,993.
