Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meet with manufacturing engineers and technicians to evaluate process and receive feedback on work performed
- Develop strategies to meet the business targets of the program (margin, revenue, HC)
- Manage manufacturing engineers by holding accountable to KPIs, coach areas of improvements, suggest additional skill sets needed, manage manpower to ensure the right employees are in the right positions
- Work with Program Manager and Account management to identify a strategy to grow the service
- Create and implement a project plan, assist in identifying resources, keep project on track
- Work with Project Lead to communicate status to customer, track deliverables and KPI’
- Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Experience in the Aerospace industry with a focus on Manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 6 -9 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, sourcing, procurement and shop floor experience.
- You can understand a customer’s problems and create new solutions to solve them. This is both a creative and innovative process as well as being able to monetize the solution.
- Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversight. You are independent and forward facing.
- Enjoy people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences.
- You are a strong communicator who can relate to customers, peers, and employees from different cultures and levels in the organization
- Familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with CNC machines
- CNC Programming
- GD&T
- SAP Experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
