  • Real Life Rosies Bootcamp – A great opportunity for women! Prepare for a career or Registered Apprenticeship in Modern Manufacturing. There is no cost to participate. Transportation and childcare are available. The next training runs September 15-December 10, 2025. The program is offered by MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, Mohawk Valley Community College, Working Solutions, and NYS Empire State Development.

Job Description

Successful and growing global importer and food manufacturer headquartered Utica, NY is seeking a full-time Production/Shipping & Receiving Personnel. This position is for 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a forklift in a warehouse environment. Ideal candidates will also have experience moving bulk products using pumps and hoses. Top candidates will be enthusiastic, dependable, and have strong organizational skills.


Typical Duties (including but not limited to):
Loading/Unloading tankers and railcars of bulk edible oil
Work on Production/Filling Lines
Maintaining accurate shipping & receiving logs
Assisting in physical inventory counts
Loading/Unloading trucks with a forklift
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and complying with all good manufacturing practices
Ensuring all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements are followed
Assisting with preventative maintenance of warehouse facility and equipment
Maintaining security of the warehouse and shipping docks
Some heavy lifting is required
Preferred experience and skills include:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in warehouse and production environment
Experience with quality control and safety programs, especially in food manufacturing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum Requirements:

Willing to work full time 40 hours per week
High school diploma or equivalent

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helps organizations support their employees through confidential problem assessment, crisis intervention, and resource navigation.

 
Reports To: Executive Director
Location: Hybrid
Rate: $30/ hr
 
Position Summary:
The Information and Referral Services Coordinator is responsible for connecting residents of Madison County with appropriate resources within the community and providing support to clients of the BRiDGES Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This role serves as a vital link between community members, employees, and the services that can enhance their well-being, including mental health support, crisis intervention, financial assistance, housing resources, and more.
The coordinator will work collaboratively with community agencies, employers, and EAP clients to ensure timely, accurate, and confidential referrals and support services.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Community Information & Referral Services
Provide community members with timely, accurate information about local services and resources.
Assess individual needs and connect clients to appropriate community-based services, for substance use misuse/ disorder, problem gambling, and/ or smoking cessation services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and build strong working relationships with service providers.
Track referrals and follow up as appropriate to ensure client needs are being met.
Employee Assistance Program (BRiDGES EAP) Support
Serve as a point of contact for EAP clients seeking assistance or information related to housing, mental health, substance use, childcare, legal aid, and more.
Assist clients in accessing EAP services, including referrals for counseling, crisis support, and resource navigation.
Collaborate with EAP staff to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations and ethical standards.
 
Outreach & Education
Develop and distribute informational materials related to available community and EAP services.
Conduct outreach presentations or tabling events to raise awareness about available support.
Participate in community events, workshops, and networking opportunities to promote services and build relationships.
Administrative & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, referrals, and outcomes using internal systems.
Prepare monthly or quarterly reports on referral trends, community needs, and service utilization.
Contribute to program development by identifying gaps in service and recommending improvements.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience). CASAC desired.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in information and referral services, case management, or community outreach.
Experience with Employee Assistance Programs or workplace wellness is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage compassionately with diverse populations.
Knowledge of local and regional community resources.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or case management databases.
 
Preferred Skills & Traits:
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) preferred.
Trauma-informed approach to client interaction.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with motivational interviewing or similar client engagement techniques.
 
Work Environment & Schedule:
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
9-5 M-F
Occasional evening or weekend outreach events may be required.
Some local travel for community engagement and partner meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
