The instructor will teach technical and hands-on approach to obtaining the skills required to become employed as a HVAC technician. Students will gain experience in how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both residential and commercial systems. Instructor shall prepare students for EPA certification test for refrigerant and recovery. Applicants must be certified by EPA and possess a desire to teach entry level workers. Good communication skills and classroom experience a plus.
Starting pay is $35 per hour but depends on experience.
