This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast- paced environment. The Position Requires Removal of parts and reassembling, use of iPad IOS, ability to lift 50 lbs. (maximum), use of variety of tools, be able to follow written and verbal instructions pertaining to jobs. Also, an understanding of meeting and exceeding quality standards. Our Ideal candidate: Mechanically efficient. Strong team work ethic. Minor Graphic Installation: Assist with the installation of small vinyl graphics Organized, attention to detail, task- oriented and efficient. TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• First Student Commercial License Permit Online Training Series – First Student is providing an online training series for applicants to prepare for the CDL written test. One of the first steps to obtaining a CDL is to pass a 3-part written test for a Commercial License Permit (CLP). These training sessions make the information in the CDL handbook easier to understand. After completing the online CLP Training Sessions contact your First Student location for next steps to obtain your Commercial Driver’s License.

• Mohawk Valley Build – MV Build is a paid 14-week training program for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades. The program runs from September 14 to December 17. It is held Monday – Thursday from 5:00PM – 8:30PM at the MVCC Construction and Trades Building, 335 Catherine St., Utica, NY. MV Build provides classroom and hands-on experience, a nationally recognized credential, and an opportunity to enter into a union apprenticeship upon completion of the program.
