Join Ashley Paciello, Integrated Employment Specialist from ACCES-VR, and Sarah Preston, Disability Resource Coordinator from FMS Workforce Solutions and NY SCION for an overview of their programs. ACCES-VR is a vocational rehabilitation that assists individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living, as well as assists employers with employing individuals with disabilities. NY SCION is a program from the NYS Department of Labor and stands for New York Systems Change and Inclusive Opportunities Network. The program consists of Disability Resource Coordinators placed around NYS work to support systems change within local workforce development areas so that individuals with disabilities are more effectively served.
