• MV Tech Corps Training at MVCC. Get started on a career path in Mechatronics, Welding, Carpentry, Masonry, CNC Machining or HVAC. Earn a tech or trades certificate from MVCC in just eight months. • Struggling to job search in the digital age? Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training and certification classes from Northstar Digital Literacy. Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have sessions every 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Thursday of the month starting at 2:00PM. • Real Life Rosies Bootcamp – A great opportunity for women! Prepare for a career or Registered Apprenticeship in Modern Manufacturing. There is no cost to participate. The program is offered by MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, Mohawk Valley Community College, Working Solutions, and NYS Empire State Development. 
• Mohawk Valley Build – MV Build is a paid 15-week training program for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades. The program runs from September 8 to December 22. It is held on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday from 5:00PM – 8:30PM. MV Build provides classroom and hands-on experience, a nationally recognized credential, and an opportunity to enter into a union apprenticeship upon completion of the program.
