• 12/17/25 – Public workshop to navigate state jobs! The Demystifying the Civil Service Merit System & NY HELPS workshop starts at 1:30PM and is located at the Utica Public Library, 303 Genesee Street, Utica, NY. 
• 1/14/26 – Upstate Caring Partners Recruitment from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at the Herkimer Working Solutions Career Center, 320 North Prospect Street, Herkimer, NY. Save the date!
• 1/21/26 – Central NY/Mohawk Valley Regional Virtual Career Fair 11:00AM – 2:00PM. Save the date!
• 1/22/26 – In-person Mini Job Fair from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at the Utica Career Center in the State Office Building, 207 Genesee Street, 2nd floor, Utica, NY 13501. Save the date!

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training classes! Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have sessions every 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Thursday of the month starting at 2:00PM. Space is limited – call (315) 867-1400 to register.
