TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
- Time is running out to sign up for Advance 2 Apprenticeship at MVCC. They are enrolling for their Fall Session now. You’ll receive training to develop in-demand skills to jumpstart your career in Manufacturing. There is no cost to students. It runs September 16 – December 11.
- Real Life Rosies Bootcamp – A great opportunity for women! Prepare for a career or Registered Apprenticeship in Modern Manufacturing. There is no cost to participate. Transportation and childcare are available. The next training runs September 15-December 10, 2025. The program is offered by MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, Mohawk Valley Community College, Working Solutions, and NYS Empire State Development.
- NYS Office of Mental Health – Start your career with the Office of Mental Health! Are you compassionate? Are you motivated? Are you interested in making a difference? Then a career with the Office of Mental Health (OMH) may be right for you! OMH is recruiting individuals with the desire to promote the mental health and well-being of all New Yorkers. - Mohawk Valley Build – MV Build is a paid 15-week training program for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades. The program runs from October 20, 2025, to February 12, 2026. It is held on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 5:00PM – 8:30PM at the MVCC Construction and Trades Building, 335 Catherine St., Utica. MV Build provides classroom and hands-on experience, a nationally recognized credential, and an opportunity to enter into a union apprenticeship upon completion of the program.
