Line Cook
Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation is seeking a line cook to work at the Copper Turret in Morrisville. The selected candidate would prepare daily entrees and items with a team of cooks, featuring menus approved by the Chef de Cuisine. In addition, the candidate would ensure departmental standards are met with regard to product quality and presentation.
Minimum requirements: High school graduate or equivalent and a minimum three to five years experience in the food service industry. Must have experience in all types of cooking methods, supervision, kitchen equipment and food service operations. The job of Food Service II was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the dining service activities at assigned locations with specific responsibilities for preparing and serving food items to students, staff, and visitors while maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Supervises student employees assigned to the area with regards to portioning, customer service and food safety procedures. Reports issues to the Manager on Duty
-Follows procedures for the proper storage of leftover food and potentially hazardous food items
-Prepares and pre-portions all food products designated for cooking in accordance with food safety specifications and company recipes
-Sets up line areas and collects necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
-Proficiently utilizes a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils, including knives

House Supervisor
Morrisville Auxiliary is hiring a Front of the House Supervisor. The Front of the House Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to assigned employees through their daily routines and interacts with customers to make sure they have a satisfactory experience. They act as quality control through the supervision of employees and ensuring the Company and Food Service policies and procedures are maintained. A Shift Supervisor must be able to perform all job functions of the staff they supervise and make decisions to delegate duties and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
