Eichler/Fox Award Application 

Up to three awards of $1500 each are available annually to women who are resuming their education to prepare for employment or to achieve the education needed to improve their employment opportunities. The candidate must be a female student 25 years of age or older. She must demonstrate significant need after all other forms of financial assistance have been exhausted. Funds may be used for any college or personal expense related to the accomplishment of the applicant’s educational goal. • Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training classes! Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have sessions every 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Thursday of the month starting at 2:00PM. Space is limited – call (315) 867-1400 to register. 
• Time is running out to sign up for Advance 2 Apprenticeship at MVCC. They are enrolling for their Spring Session now. You’ll receive training to develop in-demand skills to jumpstart your career in Manufacturing. There is no cost to students. It runs February 23 – May 13. There will be an Open House February 4th at 4:00PM at the Mohawk Valley Community College Rome Campus – Plumley Complex.
