TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• MV Tech Corps Training at MVCC. Get started on a career path in Mechatronics, Welding, Carpentry, Masonry, CNC Machining or HVAC. Earn a tech or trades certificate from MVCC in just eight months. MV Tech Corps provides gap funding for resident tuition and fees, and covers the expense of required materials expenses to eligible candidates. Contact Rachel Maiolo at to find out more. Now taking registrations for the Fall semester.
• Struggling to job search in the digital age? Herkimer Working Solutions is hosting free computer training and certification classes from Northstar Digital Literacy. Learn basic computer skills, internet basics, career search skills, Microsoft Word and Excel and more. They have sessions every 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Thursday of the month starting at 2:00PM. Space is limited – call (315) 867-1400 to register.
