Union Labor Job and Career Exploration Job Fair - November 9, 2023

The Central New York Labor Council has teamed up with the New York State Department of Labor to help the community connect, expand access to pre-apprenticeship programs, and assist current union employers to build a workforce of the future.

Workforce Development Board staff will be on hand to talk with job seekers about how our apprenticeship programs can help you get started in a satisfying and good paying career!

All job seekers and businesses currently represented by local union affiliates in Oneida and Herkimer Counties are invited to participate!

WHEN: Thursday, November 8m 2023, from 10am to 1pm

WHERE: MVCC Utica Campus, Room TBD

NEW at Herkimer Working Solutions: Mini Monthly Job Fairs!

Starting Friday, November 17, 2023, Herkimer Working Solutions will be hosting mini job fairs once a month, highlighting 4-6 local employers and their open positions.

Each month, there will be a “preview day” the week prior to the event to prepare job seekers, this session will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 2-3pm.

Both the job fair and the preview day will take place at the Herkimer Working Solutions Career Center, located at 320 N. Prospect St. Herkimer.
